ISABEL M. "CHAVELITA" AVILA Isabel M. "Chavelita" Avila, 91, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at a local hospital. Visitation and a Vigil of the Deceased was held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapel, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
