ISIDRO C. CRUZ Isidro C. Cruz, 78 , passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2013 at a local retirement home. Mr. Cruz was born in Mexico and had been resident of Laredo, Texas for most of his life. He is survived by his wife Teresa Ramirez de Cruz. Daughters, Rita Concepcion Cruz, Silvia (Rolando) Medellin, San Juana (Roberto) Gonzalez, Susana Cruz and Esther Cruz (Marco A.) De Luna. 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildern and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild Brothers and Sisters, Antonio Cruz, Francisco Cruz, Avelina Cruz, Hilaria Cruz, Rita Cruz, Maria Cruz, Maria de La Luz Cruz and Socoro Cruz. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visistion will be held on Friday, May 24,2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 on Saturday, May 25, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
