ISMAEL R. ALFARO Ismael R. Alfaro, 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at a local hospital. Mr. Alfaro was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Netzahualcoyot and Antonia Alfaro. Brother, Israel Alfaro. He is survived by his wife, Maria Alfaro. Children, Ismael (Hermelinda) Alfaro Jr., Samuel (Carmen) Alfaro, Armando (Olivia) Alfaro, Josias (Ana) Alfaro, David (Emma) Alfaro, Martha (Tomas) Vasquez, Claudia Dominguez, Zilpa (Carlos) Gutierrez and Juanita (Enirque) Pena. 27 grandchildren. 24 great-grandchildren. Also numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Prayer service officiated by Pastor Ismael Alfaro Jr. will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m on Friday, December 2, 2011 with a Religious Service also officiated by Pastor Alfaro held in the funeral home chapel. Committal service will immediately follow the service in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
