Janie Vargas' Obituary
JANIE VARGAS
Janie Vargas, 63, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at a local hospital.
Mrs. Vargas was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Servando and Dora Walker.
Son, Roberto Vargas Jr.
Brother, Servando Walker Jr.
Sister-in-Law, Irene Walker.
Brother-in-Law, Menny Heskia.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carlos Flores.
Son, James Lee (Claudia) Vargas.
Grandsons, Santiago Vargas, Matthew Vargas, Roberto Vargas III.
Brothers, Tony Walker, David Walker and Danny (Rosie) Walker.
Sisters, Sylvia W. Heskia, Diana (Juan) Gomez and Dora (Guillermo) Del Barrio.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 7 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased, recited by Meme Degollado, will be recited at 10:15 a.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 10:45 a.m. to celebrate Holy Mass at 11 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
