JAVIER "JAY" CAVAZOS JR.

Javier "Jay" Cavazos Jr., 43, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

Mr. Cavazos was born in Laredo, Texas and was a long life resident.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Antonio Cavazos.

Paternal grandparents, Ruben Cavazos Sr. and Maria Luisa Cavazos.

Maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilberto Zardenetta.

Uncle, Ruben Cavazos Jr.

Aunts, Marisol Jasso and Norma Cavazos.

Cousin, Ruby Cantu.

He is survived by his father, Javier Cavazos Sr.

Mother, Barbara Zardenetta.

Siblings, Lesley (David) Cavazos-Salas and Gustavo Cavazos.

Uncles and Aunts, Blanca (Sergio) Cantu, Gaby Zardenetta, Jorge (Laura) Zardenetta, Gustavo Zardenetta, Magally Zardenetta, Ruby (Phil) Zardenetta-Koltko, Lynette (Armando) Garza, Laura (Julio) Zepeda, Ricardo (Alma) Cavazos, Anna Maria (Geraud) Gonzalez, Rosa Elia (Mark) Rosteet, Lilia (William) Keller and Mary Lou (Xavier) Gonzalez.

Also surviving him are numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 5, 2022 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Gustavo Cavazos, David Salas, Juan Alanis, Ben Alanis, Antonio Delgado, Daniel Villarreal, Marco Valdez and Ricardo Cavazos Jr.
