JAVIER "CUATE" FLORES Javier "Cuate" Flores, 59, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at a local hospital. Mr. Flores was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a life long resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Francisco Jesus Flores. Brothers, Jesus Flores, Enrique Flores and Jose Antonio Flores. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years of marriage, Yolanda B. Flores. Daughter, Erika G. (Juan) Flores. Grandchildren, Gabriel, Michelle, David, Moises, Daniel, Amanda, Eric, Roy, Fatima and Juan, Jr. 5 great-grandchildren, Destiny, Desidee, Delilah, Natalie and Brianna. Mother, Maria B. Flores. Brother, Jose Luis (Maria Elisa) Flores. Sisters, Armandina (Armando) Garza, Maria Luisa (Felipe) Cantu and Francisca (Ricardo) Izaguirre. Sisters-in-Law, Maria M. Flores, Maria S. Flores and Elvia Zaragoza. Brother-in-Law, Gerardo (Judith) Barrera. Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez ands Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 am. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
