JAVIER MARTINEZ
Javier Martinez, 55, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020.
Mr. Martinez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a long life resident.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gregorio Martinez.
Sister, Olga Martha Martinez.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 33 years of marriage, Diana L. Martinez.
Children, Evelyn Martinez (Reynaldo Vargas), Jacklyn Martinez (Arturo Salas) and Karina Martinez.
Grandchildren, Ethan Reyes, Reynaldo Vargas, Aubree Vargas, Rylie Vargas, Janine Vasquez, Juan Vasquez Jr. and Rosalie Salas.
Mother, Olga De Leon.
Sisters, Griselda Martinez.
Brother, Rafael Martinez.
Nieces and nephews, David Martinez, Jessica Martinez and Gael Hernandez.
Goddaughter, Leslie Sanchez.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
