JESUS OSCAR CARDENAS

Jesus Oscar Cardenas, 64, passed away on January 11, 2021.

Mr. Cardenas was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Cardenas and Maria Dolores Cardenas.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Elvia Cardenas.

Children, Jessica (Juan) Weidenfeller, Becky (Manuel) Barbarena, Jesus Oscar (Maria Pilar) Cardenas Jr., Monica Cardenas and Rolando (Lealoni) Gonzalez.

13 grandchildren.

Brothers, Daniel Garcia, Manuel (Angelica) Garcia and Agustin Garcia.

Sisters, Lilia Patiño, Leonor Benavides and Rosalba (Mario) Chavez.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Following the ordinance by the State of Texas, visitation will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.

It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a religious service will be held in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 8700 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Additional information, with regard to the funeral services for Mr. Cardenas, may be obtained by calling the funeral home at (956) 723-2979.
