Obituary

JESUS ESPARZA GONZALEZ
Jesus Esparza Gonzalez, 74, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at a local hospital.
Mr. Gonzalez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Marcelina Gonzalez.
Brothers, Natividad Gonzalez and Manuel Gonzalez Jr.
Son-in-Law, Jose Fidel Sandoval.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 53 years of marriage, Doris O. Gonzalez.
Children, Marcelina Sandoval, Jesus (Liliana) Gonzalez Jr., Magdalena (Lorenzo) Cortez Jr., Doris (Adolfo) Garza, Nancy (Isaias) Gomez, Susie (Enrique) Cadena, Marybel (Noe) Palacios and Jose Alberto Chavez Gonzalez.
22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Brother, Jorge (Alejandra) Gonzalez.
Sisters, Maria Blanca (Jose Luis) Jurado, Diana Laura (Marcos) Herrera Bernal, Guadalupe (Jose) Segovia, Concepcion Gonzalez Olivo and Maria Isabel (Fernando) Treviño.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
