JESUS MATEO RODRIGUEZ
Jesus Mateo Rodriguez, 68, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at a local hospital.
Mr. Rodriguez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
Mr. Rodriguez was a veteran who served in the United States Army's 101st Airborne, during two tours in Vietnam.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Santiago and Ladislada Rodriguez.
Brothers, Jose Angel Rodriguez, Heriberto Rodriguez, Calixto Rodriguez and Santiago Rodriguez.
Sister, Maria de la Luz Ramon.
He is survived by his loving wife,of 45 years of marriage, San Juanita S. Rodriguez.
Children, Roxanne Rodriguez (Gregory Brown) and Jesus M. Rodriguez II.
Grandchildren, Raina Alicia Guevara, Ysela Noemi Guevara, Britney Marie Rodriguez, Jesus M. Rodriguez III and Federico Guevara IV.
Sister, Mary (Jesse) Alcazar.
Brothers, Francisco Rodriguez, Conrado (Elisa) Rodriguez and Jose (Elva) Rodriguez.
Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10:05 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services will follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
