JESUS MATA JR.

Jesus Mata Jr., 48, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

Mr. Mata was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Graciela V. Mata.

Granddaughter, Sophia Martinez.

He is survived by his loving wife, Isabel Vasquez Mata.

Children, Pedro (Giselle) Martinez III, Luis D. Martinez, Andrea L. Martinez and  Eduardo Martinez.

Grandchildren, Peter, Mia and Roman.

Father, Jesus Mata Sr.

Siblings Jorge (Adriana) Mata and Gloria (Daniel) Rodriguez.

Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a religious service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Cremation will be held on a later date.
