JESUS S. RUIZ Jesus S. Ruiz, 72, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Ruiz was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of his life. He was a member of the Cursillo Movement of Laredo. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years of marriage, Angelina Santillan De Ruiz. Children, Noel (Raquel) Ruiz, Roel (Ashleigh) Ruiz, Anel (Guiribaldo) Saldivar, Joel Ruiz, Jesus (Elizabeth) Ruiz and Marcos A. (Veronica) Ruiz. 14 grandchildren and 9 Great-grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters, Gorgonio (Eulalia) Ruiz, Agapo Ruiz, Juan Ruiz, Eduardo (Anita) Ruiz, Genoveva Ruiz and Irma (Onesimo) Franco. Also surviving him are numerous other relatives, nephews, nieces and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. officiated by Rev. Deacon Miguel Vallarta in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church officiated by Rev. Msgr. James Harris. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
