JESUS "JESSE" VELA JR.

Jesus Vela Jr., 73, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Vela was born in Alice, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Maria Vela Sr.
Brother, Gilbert Vela.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 16 years of marriage, Dora A. Vela.
Children, Jesus Vela III., Patty Vela, Kevin (Kelly) Vela, Alfonso (Nidia) Gonzalez and Gina Sandoval.
6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Brother, Juan (Magie) Vela.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held on a later date.
