JESUS ANTONIO VILLARREAL

Jesus Antonio Villarreal, 72, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Villarreal was born in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. He was the Maintenance Foreman at the Laredo Housing Authority, for over 20 years. He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Diana G. Villarreal, who passed away in 2008.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 11 years of marriage, Maria de la Merced Villarreal.

Children, Jesus A. (Diana B.) Villarreal and Liliana (Salvador III) Martinez.

Grandchildren, Miguel Angel (Andrea) Martinez, Samantha Villarreal, Lindsey Garcia and Lexy Ann Martinez.

Great grandchildren, Lauren Coreas and Leeann Coreas.

Sister, Rosario Villarreal.

Brother and Sisters-in-Law, Jose Rodriguez and Maria Leonor Rodriguez, Adrian Gonzalez and Gloria Gonzalez.

Nephews and Nieces, Jessica Vasquez, Victor Vasquez, Victor Nieto and Juan Pablo Nieto.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

The Villarreal Family has requested that all those in attendance are required to wear masks.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
