JESUSA SOTELO CARREJO The surviving children and siblings of Jesusa are sad to announce that she passed away on May 31, 2015 in Laredo, Texas at the age of 74. Jesusa was born on July 18, 1940 in Laredo, Texas to parents Pablo Sotelo and Amalia Beltran. Jesusa worked for the City of Laredo for most of her adult life. Upon retirement, she moved to Natalia, Texas to enjoy a slower pace and quiet surroundings. Jesusa enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Jesusa was an avid church member both in Laredo and Natalia. Jesusa is preceded in death by her Loving husband Moise W. Carrejo. Parents, Pablo and Amalia. Brother, Donaciano Sotelo. Jesusa is survived by her children, Lester W. Carrejo (Colorado Springs, Co) Joel Carrejo (Laredo, TX) Patrick J.Carrejo (Natalia, TX) and Abel Carrejo (Portland, OR). Jesusa's surviving sibling include, Ostolia Davila (Uvalde, TX), Pablo Sotelo, Jr. (Dallas, TX), Olga Vallin (Laredo, TX) and Homero Sotelo (Houston, TX). In addition, she leaves behind many grandchildren, friends, and relatives. Jesusa leaves us a legacy of kindness, compassion, and love. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a celebration of her life will be officiated by Pastor Ray Marroquin at 6 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. A prayer service will be officiated by Pastor Ray Marroquin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2015. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
