Jim De La Peña, 40, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. He was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1980 in Sacramento, California.
Jim grew up in Pasadena and Laredo, Texas where he graduated from J.W. Nixon High School. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and uncle. He is preceded in death by his mother, Blanca Rosas De La Peña and grandfathers, Rolando De La Peña and Fausto Rosas.
He is survived by his father Hugo De La Peña; brothers David and Mark De La Peña; sister, Cristina De La Peña; grandmothers Olga De La Peña and Maria G. Rosas.
Funeral services were held on Monday, December 27, 2021 departing from the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave.
Holy Mass was celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Giovanni Arriola, Hugo De La Peña, David De La Peña, Nicolas Arriola, Ethan Arriola, Noah Arriola, Mark De La Peña and Fausto Rosas.
