Jorge Avalos Jr. July 18, 1997 - June 20, 2015 Jorge Avalos Jr., 17, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Avalos was born in San Antonio, Texas and had been a life long resident. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather Sabino Gomez. His Paternal Grandmother, Carmen Briones de Avalos and Paternal Great-Grandmother, Anastacia Torres de Briones. He is survived by his parents, Jorge and Sabina G. Avalos. Brothers, Joshua Avalos, Joel Avalos and Jonathan Avalos. Uncles and Aunts, Rodolfo (Margarita) Avalos Jr., Roberto (Carmen)Avalos, Elena (Jesus) Martinez, Imelda (Ricardo) Rodriguez, Beatriz (Juan) Avalos, Corina Gomez and Carla (Gustavo) Villarreal. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapel, 800 Boston St on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral Services will begin at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal Services and Interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
