JORGE ALBERTO CASTILLEJA
Jorge Alberto Castilleja, 62, of Laredo, Texas, was called by the lord on Feb 26, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
Jorge was known for being a huge fanatic of The Dallas Cowboys, The San Antonio Spurs and had a passion for poker and landscaping. Jorge was a kind, generous, humorous, helpful man who assisted absolutely anyone. Most importantly, Jorge was a hard working man who was impossible to replace, for he took pride in being the best. Jorge's main priority in life was always to provide for his immediate family foremost but he was always willing to lend a helping hand to his brothers, sisters and friends anytime necessary without expecting anything in return. During his lifetime he was immensely selfless and loyal. Truly one of a kind.
Jorge resided in Laredo, Tx where he met by true destiny the love of his life Alma Rosa Castilleja and had a strong marriage of 39 years. It was with Alma that Jorge had his two daughters and two sons. The fuel to his fire.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Maximiliano and Maria Lilia Castilleja.
Lifelong wife, Alma Rosa Castilleja.
Brother, Juan Manuel Castilleja.
Sister, Sylvia Castilleja.
He is survived by his children, Abel (Johnny Cavazos), Antonio (Christina) Lerma, Jenny I. (Israel) Garcia and Jannel I. Castilleja.
8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Brothers, Daniel Omar (Rudy) Castilleja, Maximiliano David Castilleja and Jose Angel (Mague) Castilleja.
Sisters, Lili Castilleja, Rosalinda (Antonio) Godoy, Maria Priscilla (Olivia) Castilleja and Aida Yvette Castilleja.
Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 departing from the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave
. Holy Mass was celebrated at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Abel Lerma, Antonio Lerma, Jannel Castilleja, Daniel Castilleja, Daniel Alexander Castilleja, Cristian Castilleja, Max Castilleja, Israel Garcia and Johnny Cavazos.
