JORGE ESCOBAR

Jorge Escobar, 55, was called upon by his Maker on Sunday, September 4, 2022.

Mr. Escobar was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially adored the Dallas Cowboys.

He is preceded in death by his mother Rosa Maria Barrera Vidaurri and by his great-grandmother Rosa Gonzalez.

He is survived by his children; Jorge Escobar Jr., Jose Jesus Escobar, Jacqueline Escobar, Jessica (Jose) Gonzalez, Robert Peña, Alyssa Peña and  Leopoldo Arvizo.

Numerous grandchildren.

His father; Jesus Escobar Jr.

His brothers and sisters; Jesus Escobar III, Diana (Martin) Tristan and  Isabel Escobar.

Also, surviving him are his uncle, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Committal services will be held at a later date.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Jorge Escobar Jr., J.J. Escobar, Robert Peña, Polo Arvizo, Martin Tristan, Juan Jose Ramos, Juan Ramos and Jesus Escobar.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels.
