JOSE M. BUSTOS

DECEMBER 4, 1923 - AUGUST 25, 2025

Jose M. Bustos, 101, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025.

Mr. Bustos was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Juvencio and Maria Bustos.

His beloved wife, Graciela Maria Bustos.

He is survived by his children, Maria Graciela (Joe) Stegmann, Rosa I. Sanchez, Elsa Laura (Luis+) Plascencia, Jose M. (Laura)  Bustos, Norma Leticia Bustos-Romero, Nora  (Arnulfo) Lozano and Eduardo Bustos.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, located at 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. A Vigil of the Deceased and Liturgy of the Word will be officiated at 7:00 p.m. by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon in the funeral home chapel. Committal services will be held on a later date.

Funeral services are under the direction of Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels.
