Jose Alfonso Campos. A loving son, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023 in Laredo, Texas. He was 75 years old. Born on December 30, 1948 to Fina and Arturo Campos.

Jose graduated from Martin High School and worked as a teacher for many years. He loved to serve the Lord and spend time with his friends and family.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother Juan De Dios Campos and sister-in-law Maria G. Campos.

His family left to cherish his memory include his older brother Jesus Arturo Campos, his nieces Claudia Campos, Gabriella Campos, Cynthia Mejia, Monica Campos, and Brenda Campos. His nephew-in-law Fred Mejia, His great nieces Olivia Gonzalez, Daniella Gonzalez, Josephine Mejia, Mia Mejia, and Roman Mejia.

Jose was loved by all who knew him and will be missed very much.

Funeral services were held on Monday, August 28, 2023 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels , 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. A Liturgy of the Word, officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon, was held in the funeral home chapel before committal services and interment followed in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Jesus Campos, Isidro Reyes, Manuel Pulido, Joseph Lambert, Travis Orawiec, Adolfo Mendoza, Gilbert Lopez and Alberto A. Davila.
