JOSE LUIS "WICHO" CASTILLO

Jose Luis "Wicho" Castillo, 75, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

Mr. Castillo was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Jesusa Castillo.
Siblings, Antonio Castillo Jr., Dolores Mares, Carlos Castillo and Pedro Castillo.
Nephew, Paul Castillo.
Niece, San Juanita Enriquez.
Godson, Carlos Castillo III.
Parents-in-Law, Agustin and Oralia Gallegos Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 46 years of marriage, Araceli Castillo.
Sons, Jose Luis (Judith) Castillo Jr. and Jesus Antonio (Alyssa Martinez) Castillo.
Grandchildren, Jose Luis Castillo III, Jose Gerardo Castillo, Briana Castillo, Bianca Castillo, Jose Felix Castillo, Jazmin Castillo, Jesus Antonio Castillo II and Julian Mateo Castillo.
Siblings, Juan (Alicia) Castillo, Maruca (Geronimo) Enriquez and Lucy (Rudy) Leiva.
Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. at the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave .

In lieu of funeral flowers, we ask for monetary donations to Wicho's preferred church, San Luis Rey Catholic Church. There will be a donation box at the entrance of funeral.
