Jose Contreras' Obituary
JOSE CONTRERAS
Jose Contreras, 89, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019, at a local hospital.
Mr. Contreras was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his Brothers, Juan Contreras, Mario Contreras, Rogelio Contreras and Rodolfo Contreras.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 50 years of marriage, Herminia Contreras.
Brother, Manuel Contreras.
Also surviving him are numerous other cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Mr Contrera's Family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to his caregiver, Ana De La Torre, for the special care and attention she provided.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
