JOSE SANCHEZ MARCH 19, 1925 - FEBRUARY 10, 2012 Jose Sanchez, 86, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Sanchez was born in Sabinas, Hidalgo Nuevo Leon Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo for most of his life. He is survived by his loving wife, Santos Sanchez. Children, Omar (Elva) Sanchez, Mario Sanchez, Guadalupe (Abraham) Mercado, Jose (Shirley) Sanchez, Hilda (Domingo) Mercado, Miguel Angel (Maria) Sanchez, Jaime Sanchez and Blanca (Gilbert) Tanguma. 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Brothers, Rodolfo Sanchez, Jesus (Guadalupe) Sanchez and Balberto (Carmela) Sanchez. Sister, Martha Garcia. Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Nuestra Senora Del Rosario Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
