Jose Luis De La Rosa's Obituary
JOSE LUIS DE LA ROSA SR.
Jose Luis De La Rosa Sr. passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. De La Rosa Sr. was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and had been a long-life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vicente and Maria De La Rosa and by numerous brothers and sisters.
Mr. Jose Luis De La Rosa Sr. was survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Hilda C. De La Rosa.
Children, Jose L. De La Rosa Jr., Lauro (Genoveva) De La Rosa, Anna L. Martinez and Linda De La Rosa.
16 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Sister, Dolores De La Rosa.
He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
