Obituary

JOSE PAZ EQUIGUA
Jose Paz Equigua, 84, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. Equigua was born in Zamora, Mich., Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vicente and Carmen Equigua.
Sisters, Amparo Equigua Aguilar, Guadalupe Equigua Garcia and Teresa Equigua Talamantes.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 58 years of marriage, Antonia R. Equigua.
Sons, Armando (Margarita) Equigua and Alfredo (San Juanita) Equigua.
Grandchildren, Michael S. Equigua, Vanessa (Fred) Reyes, Jacklyn M. Equigua, Valerie L. Equigua, Jennifer N. Equigua, Jose A. Equigua and Alfredo Equigua Jr.
6 great-grandchildren.
Brother, Vicente Equigua Jr.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
