JOSE FRANCISCO GARZA Jose Francisco Garza, 75, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013 at a local hospital. Mr. Garza was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a resident for all of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas and Francisca Garza. Grandchildren, Francisco Javier Reyna, Jr. and Danellie Nicole Cavazos. He is survived by his wife, Maria Dolores Garza. Children, Jose Francisco (Laura) Garza, Jr., Teresa (Daniel) Cavazos, Javier Garza, Ismael (Estela) Garza, Graciela (Victor) Candia, Tomasita (Francisco) Reyna and Ruben Garza. 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Siblings, Pedro (Maria) Garza, Pablo Garza, Nicolas (Maria) Garcia, Hortencia Padilla and Celia Garza. Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
