JOSE GALLARDO JR. Jose Gallardo Jr., 56, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Gallardo was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a resident for all of his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Gallardo Sr. Son, Arturo Ortiz and also by his daughter, Graciela Ortiz. Niece, Orelia L. Chavez. He is survived by his Children, Enrique (Enriqueta) Gallardo, Jose (Carolina) Gallardo III and Edna Yanira (Miguel Angel) Aguilar. Mother, Esther R. Gallardo. Siblings, Alfonso (Simona, dec'd) Ortiz, Sergio (Candelaria) Ortiz, Minerva Vital, Jesus (Antonieta) Ortiz, Gerardo (Elva) Gallardo and Orelia Perez. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 9 a.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
