JOSE LUIS "GORDO" GONZALEZ
Jose Luis " Gordo" Gonzalez, 69, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at a local hospital.
Mr. Gonzalez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Benito and Leonicia R. Gonzalez.
Sisters, Francisca Martinez and Maria Del Rosario Perez.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 45 years of marriage, Florentina Gonzalez.
Children, Diana Molina (Chris) Juan (Sara Alicia) Gonzalez, Jose Angel Gonzalez, Esmeralda (Raul Chavez) Gonzalez and Michael (Nelly) Sandoval.
Grandchildren, Jonathon Molina, Adreana Molina, Jose Angel Gonzalez Jr., Raul Gerardo Chavez Jr. and Nayeli Azul Chavez.
Siblings, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Juan (Elena) Gonzalez, Gloria (Ozzie) Aguilar, Benito (Olga) Gonzalez, Luisa (Jorge) Sandoval and Armando Gonzalez.
Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
PALLBEARERS WILL BE: Juan Gonzalez, Jose Angel Gonzalez, Jonathon Molina, Jose Angel Gonzalez Jr., Raul Chavez, Raul Chavez Jr., Michael Sandoval and Chris Molina.
