JOSE HERNANDEZ Jose Hernandez, 85, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Hernandez was born in Hobbs, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. He is precede in death by his loving wife, Eva Hernandez. Daughter, Martha Elvira Hernandez. Parents, Jose and Altagracia Hernandez. He is survived by his children, Virginia (Juan) Moreno, Rafael (Juanita) Hernandez, Evangelina Hernandez (Oscar Garza), Maria Candelaria Hernandez, Marina Hernandez, Alicia Hernandez (Ricardo Martinez), Inez (Ignacio) Garcia and Violeta (Ramon) Astorga. 27 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and also great great grandchildren. 2 brothers, Apolinar Hernandez and Miguel Hernandez. Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
