JOSE INES HERNANDEZ
Jose I. Hernandez went to be with Lord on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the age of 89.
Jose was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He was a very hard worker from humble beginnings who worked hard to provide for his family. He will be greatly and dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herculano and Julia Hernandez.
His beloved wife, Elisa Hernandez.
Sons, Jose Gerardo Hernandez and Manuel Hernandez.
Brothers, Sabas Hernandez, Andres Hernandez, Eduardo Hernandez and Teodoro Hernandez.
Sister, Inocencia Hernandez.

He is survived by his children, Elisa (Alfredo) Peña, Javier (Jesusa) Hernandez, Elsa Hernandez, Sylvia (Gerardo) Villarreal.
Grandchildren, Jose Alfredo (Ann), Jorge and Araceli Peña, Deyanira (Paco) and Vivian Hernandez, Jessica (Cesar), Jennifer (Jesus), and Johann (George) Hernandez, Ricardo (Vanessa) and Carlos (Stephanie) Alvarez, Joseph and Katherine Berrones, Gerardo Jr., Kristina and Kayla Villarreal.
Brothers, Marcelino and Vicente Hernandez.
Also surviving him are numerous great-grandchildren, many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
