Jose Jalomo's Obituary
JOSE JALOMO SR.
Jose Jalomo Sr., 87, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mr. Jalomo was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
He was a humble man who was dedicated to his family and his hard work. He embraced life and pursued his goals relentlessly. He will be missed but remembered by all those who love him and rejoice in the life he lived.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernabe and Ninpha Jalomo.
Wife, Dora S. Jalomo.
Daughter, Dora Jalomo.
Brothers, Ignacio Jalomo, Armando Jalomo, Eduardo Jalomo, Gilberto Jalomo and Enedino Jalomo.
Sisters, Eva Ramirez, Olga Escobedo, Argentina Mendiola, Armandina Jalomo, Juanita Morales and Melita Jalomo.
He is survived by his sons, Jose (Sylvia) Jalomo Jr. and Bernabe Francisco Jalomo.
Granddaughters, Dolores (Eric) Ibarra and Dora Jalomo (Armando Aguilar).
6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-granddaughters.
Sister, Irma (Luis) Martinez.
Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Catholic Cemetery.
