JOSE L. PEREZ

Jose L. Perez, 76, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026.

Mr. Perez was born Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Honorato and Maria Luisa Perez.

Brothers, Juan Jose Perez, Honorato "Tito" Perez, Ernesto Javier Perez, Claudio Perez, Luis Edmundo Perez, Juan De Dios Perez and Roberto Perez.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elsa Perez.

Children, Daniel Lopez, Albert (Griselda) Perez, Charlie (Sandra) Perez, Eddie (Yolanda Santos) Perez, Roli Perez, Priscilla (Hector) Ortiz.

15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Sisters, Maria Luisa Garcia, Maria del San Juan (Nicolas) Garza and Maria Cristina Perez.

Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
