JOSE SANTOS "CHITO" LINAN "EL AMIGO" Jose Santos "Chito" Linan "El Amigo", 81, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 in Dilley, Texas. Mr. Linan was born in Encinal, Texas and had been a lifelong resident. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Eufemia R. Linan. Also by Raymundo Linan, Martin Linan, Pedro Linan and Maria Martinez. He is survived by his Brother and Sister, Manuel Linan and Maria Linan of Encinal, Texas. Also surviving him are nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. A Liturgy of the Word will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013 in the funeral home chapel. Committal services will be held at a later date.
