Jose Luis "Joey El Red' Rodriguez, 43, passed away on saturday, June 4, 2022 in Laredo Texas .
He was a parent volunteer for many years with LISD, UISD and Rio Grande Little League.
Mr. Rodriguez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
He was preceded in death by father, Juan Francisco Rodriguez.
Sister, Patricia Rodriguez.
Children, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Jr, Joecline Rodriguez and Angel Rodriguez.
Father in Law, Marcos Ibarra.
Cousins, Marco Antonio Parra and Julio Cesar Ruiz.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 24 years of marriage, Maribel I. Rodriguez.
Children, Krystal M. (Hector Pedraza) Rodriguez, Jose Luis (Veronica G. Medina) Rodriguez, Jr., Klarabel M. Rodriguez, Karitza M. Rodriguez, Marco Andres Rodriguez, Juan Carlos Rodriguez and Keyara M. Rodriguez.
Grandchildren, Nathan Pedraza, Klarinda Pedraza, Karisma Pedraza, Keana J. Rodriguez, Jose Luis Rodriguez, III. and Kendra L. Rodriguez.
Mother, Rosa Maria Ferdin Rodriguez.
Mother in law, Ramona U. Ibarra.
Siblings, Juan Francisco Rodriguez Jr. and Priscilla (Julio Adrian Cruz) Rodriguez.
Brother in law, Victor Hugo Requena, Marcos Ibarra, Jr., Gilberto Ibarra, Maria Dora (Oscar Vela) Ibarra, Jasmine (Anthony Rodriguez) Ibarra, Jewel Ibarra and Marisol Ibarra.
Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 departing from the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at San Agustin Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Laredo City Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Ernesto Adams, Jose Luis Rodriguez Jr., Marcos Ibarra Jr., Gilberto Ibarra, Jesus Manzanares, Orlando Ibarra, Hector Pedrazon, Oscar Vela, Luis Ibarra Jr. and Felipe De Jesus Ibarra.
HONORARY PALLBEARERS WERE: Marco Andres Rodriguez, Juan Carlos Rodriguez and Nathan Hector Pedraza.
