JOSE MARTINEZ

Jose Martinez, 90, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Mr. Martinez was born in Lagos de Morelos, Jalisco, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, of over 40 years of marriage, Viviana Camarillo de Martinez.

Son, Jose Martinez.

Parents, Demetrio Martinez and Francisca Lara de Martinez.

He is survived by his children, San Juana Martinez (Juan Jose Martinez), Juan Jose Martinez (Maria Isabel Martinez), Martin Martinez (Lazara Martinez) and Maria De Jesus Martinez(Jose Lopez)

Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, February 23, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.

PALLBEARERS WERE:  Mario Ordonez, Jesus Martinez, Juan Jose Martinez Jr., Julio Martinez, Jorge Rodriguez, Joey Rodriguez, Martin Martine and David Valero.
