JOSE LUIS MELENDEZ
"Papi Blue"
Jose Luis Melendez, 53, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. Melendez was born in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gabino and Maria Melendez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Melendez.
Children, Jesus Santillan, Sonia Melendez, Carlos Melendez and Denise Melendez.
Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Nuestra Señora Del Rosario Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
