Jose Geronimo Mendez's Obituary
JOSE GERONIMO MENDEZ
Jose Geronimo Mendez, 48, passed away on July 2, 2020, at a local hospital.
Mr. Mendez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jeronimo Mendez.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 21 years of marriage, Amalia C. Mendez.
Daughter, Josielynn Mendez.
Mother, Bertha B. Mendez.
Brother, Mario (Duvelza) Mendez.
Sisters, Lucia (Baldemar) Moreno and Rosa Mendez.
Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitation will be limited to 50% of capacity inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Committal services will be held on a later date.
