Obituary

JOSE MENDOZA JR.

Jose Mendoza Jr., 76, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mr. Mendoza was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
He was employed at Del Monte Food Processing Company, in Matteson, WI, for 30 years, then later returned to Laredo, where he proceeded to service the area, as a Mechanic, by opening Mendoza's Garage. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Mendoza Sr. and Maria De La Luz Mendoza.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 50 years of marriage, Sara T. Mendoza.
Children, Miguel (Ernestina) Treviño, Sarah E. Treviño, Laura P. (Hilario) Rodriguez, Brenda A. Borjas and Roxanna (Ricardo) Botello.
Grandchildren, Jose Eduardo (Eddie) Esparza, Ivan Rodriguez, Miguel Treviño Jr., Enid Treviño and Jose (Blanca) Treviño.
Numerous great-grandchildren.
Siblings, Carmen (Hector) Pearson, Alicia (Buenselao) Rodriguez, Guadalupe (Juan) Zuniga, Roberto (Amelia) Mendoza, Juanita (Carlos) Peña, Yolanda Wright, Carlos (Leticia) Mendoza and Alma Mendoza.
Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017 departing the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
