JOSE LUIS "NINO" VALDEZ

Jose Luis "Nino" Valdez, 45, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Valdez was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Rodolfo and Ramona Garcia.
Aunt, Ramona Garcia and Elida Sanchez.
Uncle, Alfredo Garcia.

He is survived by his parents, Sylvia Garcia Ortiz  and Francisco "Gunny" Ortiz Junior.
Siblings, Leticia Valdez, Fernando Valdez Jr. and Ted Valdez (Veronica Valdez).
Nephews and nieces, Monica Chavez, Myra Aguilar, Marlene Aguilar, Antonio Aguilar Jr., Teralynn Valdez, T.J. Valdez, Victoria Valdez, Rey Valdez, Roel Vasquez, Jacqueline "Jackie" Valdez, Jose Luis Valdez Jr. and Jasmine Valdez.
Grandnieces and nephews, Jessica Chavez, Daisy Chavez, Destiny Chavez, Naomi Chavez, Maddy Chavez, Emberly Chavez, Hailey Aguilar, A.J. Vergara, Benji Holguin, Benicio Holguin, Jay Leyva and Mason Aguilar.

Also surviving him are aunts, uncles, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St at San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
