JOSE LUIS RIVERA JR. Jose Luis Rivera, Jr., 43, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015. Mr. Rivera was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. He is preceded in death by his sister, Sonya Cadena. He is survived by his parents, Sonya (Alejandrino) Fajardo and Jose Luis Rivera, Sr. Son, Jose Luis Rivera, III. Mother of his son, Oneida Rivera. Sister and Brothers, Alejandro Fajardo, Arlene Fajardo and Angel Fajardo. Nieces, Jasmine Garcia and Ruby Cadena. Also surviving him are uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
