CPL. JOSE P. "Borrado" RODRIGUEZ SR. CPL. Jose P. "Borrado" Rodriguez Sr., 84, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Rodriguez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. He was a veteran of the Korean War in which he served with the United States Army up until his Honorable Discharge in 1960. After his tour on duty, he returned to Laredo and later was employed with Paul Young Chevrolet for 25 years. He then when on to work with Tex-Mex Railroad for 30 years until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years of marriage, Minerva Rios Rodriguez. Daughter, Brenda Rodriguez. Parents, Martin and Estella Rodriguez. Sister, Belia Herrera Brother, Francisco Rodriguez. He is survived by his children, Duvina Rodriguez, Jose P. (Maggie) Rodriguez, Ruby Rodriguez and Diana Rodriguez. 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Brothers and sisters, Estella (Jose Maria) Salazar, Josefa (Jose A.) Castillo, Hermina (Agapito) Ruiz, Martha Rodriguez and Martin (Gail) Rodriguez Jr. Sister-in-law, Olga Rios (Federico, dec'd) Ayala. Brother-in-law, Ruben T. (Elva) Rios. Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
