JOSE LUIS SOTELO

Jose Luis Sotelo,66, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Sotelo was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident of Laredo, Texas
He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Maria Guadalupe Sotelo.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 40 years of marriage, Virginia G. Sotelo.
Daughter, Sara Sotelo.
Granddaughter, Delilah Pruitt.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Religious Service officiated by Pastor Julio Patiño will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St at San Bernardo Ave. A Chapel service will be held on Wednesday, April, 22, 2025 at 10 a.m.. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Raymond C. Martinez, Jaime Martinez, Raul Alfarod, Jose Fuentes, Florencio Garcia, Delilah Pruitt, Sara Sotelo and Sergio Barraga.
