Obituary

JOSE PEDRO TAPIA
Jose Pedro Tapia, 64, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020.
Mr Tapia was born in Laredo, Texas and was a life long resident. He was a veteran of the United States Army, who served with the armed forces for 7 years. He was later employed, as a Deputy, with the Webb County Sherriff's Department, for over 20 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Tapia and Maria Carlota P. Tapia.
Nephew, Joshua Tapia.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 25 years of marriage, Juanita A. Cruz.
Brothers, and Sisters, Magdalena (John) Rodriguez, Javier Eduardo (Melissa) Tapia, Margarita Gonzalez and Jaime (Criselda) Tapia.
Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 and a Vigil of the Deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services and interment will be held on a later date.
