Jose Federico Vasquez, 83, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Vasquez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Guadalupe Vasquez.
Spouse, Olga Vasquez.
Brother, Jorge Vasquez.
Sister, Sylvia Vasquez and Rosa Maria Vasquez Rodriguez.

He is survived by his children, JUan F. (Veronica) Vasquez, Carlos A. (Mirna) Vasquez, Olga B. (Michael) Silva and Gabriela J. (Rolando) San Miguel.
12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Sister, Rosa Vasquez.
Brother, Alfonso Vasquez.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
