JOSE VILLALOBOS

Jose Villalobos, 84, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

Mr. Villalobos was born in General Zepeda, Coah., Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. Mr. Villalobos was a Baker at The Aguila Bakery for over 40 years. He was also a Bellman at the Holiday Inn in Laredo for over 20 years, until he retired. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Eva Rivera and by his brothers, Candelario Villalobos, Antonio Rivera, Luis Rivera, and Raul Villalobos.

Sisters, Maria Villalobos and Guadalupe Arce.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 65 years of marriage, Alma L. Villalobos.

Children, San Juana Irma (Romulo) Lopez, Jose (Olga) Villalobos, Alejandro Villalobos, Ricardo (Nereida) Villalobos and Laura Villalobos.

20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Siblings, Jesus Villalobos, Armandina Loera, Juanita Saldivar and Rosa Elia Ochoa.

Also surviving are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of  the deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Miguel Vallarta, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held on a later date.
