JOSE LUIS VILLANUEVA

Jose Luis Villanueva, 72, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Villanueva was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Otila Villanueva.
Spouse, Librada M. Villanueva.
Son, Fidel Villanueva.
Brother, Jose Villanueva.
Sister, Dalia Navarro.

He is survived by his children, Nora (Arturo) Guajardo, Melissa (Juan) Castillo, Jose Luis (Dora) Villanueva Jr. and Yvette Villanueva.
9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Brother, Antonio Guadalupe (Belinda) Villanueva.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February  28, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Arturo Guajardo III, Pablo Garcia III, Antonio Villanueva, Jose Luis Villanueva Jr., Oscar Jose Abrego, Christopher Abrego, Fidel Villanueva Jr. and Jacob Villanueva.
