JOSE YEPEZ

Jose Yepez, 85, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at a local hospital.

Mr. Yepez was born in Durango, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo and Juana Yepez.

Beloved spouse, Concepcion Castillo.

Brother, Manuel Yepez.

He is survived by his children, Maricela Yepez, Francisco Yepez, Ludivina Yepez and Rosalinda Velasquez.

Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sister, Maria de la Luz Yepez.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Following the ordinance by the State of Texas, visitation will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.

It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
