JOSEFINA BARRIENTOS

Josefina Barrientos, de 97 años, falleció en su residencia rodeada de su querida familia.

La Sra. Barrientos nació en Cotulla, Texas, pero residió toda su vida en Laredo.

Le precedieron en la muerte su amado esposo durante más de 50 años de matrimonio, Amado Reyes, su hijo Refugio Reyes y sus padres Serapio Barrientos y Paula Claudio de Barrientos.

Le sobreviven sus hijos, Rosa Berta Cuevas, María Del Socorro (Armando) Rodríguez, José Luis (Alicia) Reyes y Graciela Reyes.

Y Por sus nietos, José Luis Rodríguez, Jorge Rodríguez, Jesús Rodríguez, Roberto Reynoso, Vanessa Reynoso, Renato Reynoso, Luis Reyes, Erick Reyes, Rebeca Reyes, Lidia Reyes, Refugio Reyes Jr., Griselda Reyes, Juan Reyes, Mary Reyes, Cindy Reyes y Alberto Reyes.

Nuera, Narcedalia Reyes.

También le sobreviven bisnietos y tataranietos, otros familiares y muchos amigos.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el domingo 30 de junio de 2024 de 4:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. y se oficiará un Rosario a las 7:00 p.m. por el Rev. Diácono Leonard Aguillon en las Capillas Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside, 800 Boston St. y San Bernardo Ave. Los servicios funerarios comenzarán a las 9:30 a.m. el lunes 1 de julio de 2024 con una Liturgia de la Palabra oficiada por el Rev. Diácono Leonard Aguillon en la Capilla de la funeraria. Los servicios de sepelio y entierro se realizarán en el Panteón Municipal de Rodríguez Nuevo León, México.

Los arreglos funerarios están bajo la dirección de Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. y San Bernardo Ave.

Josefina Barrientos, 97, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Ms. Barrientos was born in Cotulla, Texas but had been a lifelong resident of Laredo.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years of marriage Amado Reyes, by her son Refugio Reyes and by her parents Serapio Barrientos and Paula Claudio de Barrientos.

She is survived by her children, Rosa Berta Cuevas, Maria Del Socorro (Armando) Rodriguez, Jose Luis (Alicia) Reyes and Graciela Reyes.

By her grandchildren, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Jorge Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez, Roberto Reynoso, Vanessa Reynoso, Renato Reynoso, Luis Reyes, Erick Reyes, Rebeca Reyes, Lidia Reyes, Refugio Reyes Jr., Griselda Reyes, Juan Reyes, Mary Reyes, Cindy Reyes and Albert Reyes.

Daughter-in-Law, Narcedalia Reyes.

Also surviving her are great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and a Rosary will be officiated at 7:00 p.m. by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2024 with a Liturgy of the Word officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon in the funeral home Chapel. Committal services and interment will follow in the Panteón Municipal in Rodriguez Nuevo Leon Mexico.
