JOSEFINA BECERRA Josefina Becerra,61, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Becerra was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos Becerra Alvarez and Josefina Estrada Garcia. Son, Carlitos Mejorada. She is survived by her step-mother, Juanita Becerra. Children, Cynthia I. Mejorada, Manuel Mejorado and Carlos A. Mejorada. Grandchildren, Alejandro Sievert, Valentina G. Jennings, Joseph Vargas, Karlitos Vargas, Andrew Vargas, Hector Garcia, Bryan Mejorada, Axel Ramirez, Victoria G. Mejorado, Alexandra Mejorado, Juanito Mejorada, Joshua Mejorado and Damian Alexander Mejorado. Brothers and sisters, Carlos (Paty) Becerra Jr., Roberto (Irma) Becerra, Mario (Patty) Becerra, San Juanita (Omar) Uvaldo, Luis (Joann) Becerra and Daniel (Violeta) Becerra. Also surviving her are all those who loved her dearly, family and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 from 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 10:15 a.m., the same day, departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
